Single Cell Technologies and their Fields of Application (Tumor Cells)

With the 11th edition of Trends in Single Cell Analysis, we continue our event series Life Science Innovation, offering insights into pioneering single cell technologies and their applications in cancer research and liquid biopsy.

In this session, we spotlight advances in single cell proteomics, CTC detection in NSCLC, and novel single cell sequencing platforms. We are excited to welcome a diverse group of experts from academia and industry who will present cutting-edge technologies and concepts in single cell analysis.

Programme
Welcoming speech:
Dr. Thomas Heck, Life Science Center Duesseldorf
Prof. Dr. Nikolas Stoecklein, PhD, University Hospital Duesseldorf

Academia
Moderation: Prof. Dr. Nikolas Stoecklein, MD, University Hospital Duesseldorf

  • CTCs in NSCLC – pushing the boundaries?
Dr. Melanie Janning, Senior Physician, DKFZ Hector Krebsinstitut, Universitätsmedizin Mannheim
Dr. Janning will discuss the current limitations of CTC research in non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC), including the role of leukapheresis, insights from scRNA-seq datasets, and future directions in the field.

Companies
Moderation: Prof. Dr. Hans Neubauer, PhD, University Hospital Duesseldorf

  • cellenONE for single cell sample preparation in single cell proteomics
Anjali Seth, PhD, Head of Single Cell Proteomics, Cellenion, Lyon, France
The cellenONE system combines ultra-low volume dispensing with single cell isolation. Together with optimized sample preparation workflows, it enables high-quality single cell proteomics prior to mass spectrometry.
  • From plates to nano wells: Novel approaches to single cell sequencing using SMART® and PicoPLEX® technologies
Dr. Florian Paasch, NGS Specialist – DACH & Nordics, Takara Bio Europe
An overview of the latest innovations in single cell sequencing, focusing on flexible platforms that enhance data quality and scalability.

Organizer: LifeScienceNet Duesseldorf and the Liquid Biopsy Center Duesseldorf (LBCD) of the University Hospital Duesseldorf
