SUMMARY:Trends in Single Cell Analysis #5
DESCRIPTION:Single Cell Technologies and their Fields of Application (Tumor
Cells)\nWith ‘Trends in Single Cell Analysis #5’ we will continue the
event format ‘Life Science Innovation’\, which provides insights into
innovative research topics and current developments in Dusseldorf\, NRW a
nd beyond.\n\nThis time\, we have invited Prof. Sabine Kasimir-Bauer from
Essen who will give insights into her “CTC-work” in ovarian cancer and
the challenges she faces in this cancer entity. Dr. Bernhard Polzer from
the Fraunhofer-Institute in Regensburg will tell us about the platforms de
veloped there using single cell technologies to follow the genetic evoluti
on of systemic cancer and generate patient-derived models. Last\, but not
least\, Adam Corner will present an integrated workflow approach developed
by Bio-Rad to achieve efficient CTC enrichment with targeted enumeration.
