Single Cell Technologies and their Fields of Application (Tumor Cells)
With ‘Trends in Single Cell Analysis #5’ we will continue the event format ‘Life Science Innovation’, which provides insights into innovative research topics and current developments in Dusseldorf, NRW and beyond.
This time, we have invited Prof. Sabine Kasimir-Bauer from Essen who will give insights into her “CTC-work” in ovarian cancer and the challenges she faces in this cancer entity. Dr. Bernhard Polzer from the Fraunhofer-Institute in Regensburg will tell us about the platforms developed there using single cell technologies to follow the genetic evolution of systemic cancer and generate patient-derived models. Last, but not least, Adam Corner will present an integrated workflow approach developed by Bio-Rad to achieve efficient CTC enrichment with targeted enumeration.
